Archery

bought a cheap bow (Rolan Snake), made a 10 yard archery lane in the backyard and started shooting bow and arrow again. archery lane image

I liked it so much that I joined an Archery Club.
Then started with the longbow and then bought a horsebow for fun. the horsebow is a Buck Trail Hayk (30#@28", 52") and it is definitely fun to shoot.

My current set of bows is the Hayk and a Bodnik Redman (40#@28", 62") and a Raptor (43#@28" 54" horsebow.
FYI (40#@28", 62") means: a 40 pound bow at 28 Inch (drawlength) and the bow is 62 Inch long.

To get better we use a small rubber ducky or a tennis ball as target practice, the distance is 25 Meters.

Target Shooting

For a start this is how the scoring works.

Turns out I'm rather good at target shooting as I'm currently the Dutch champion in the "Traditional 25 meter 1 arrow" category.
